Victor E. Holly IIIHmmm, what can I say? I'm a functionally dysfunctional vet with depression issues. I have 3 wonderful daughters and a wonderful wife. I come from a great family. I was born in Fort Worth many moons ago. I have survived volcanic eruptions, typhoons, earthquakes, tornadoes, divorce, homelessness, nervous breakdowns, and a REALLY short stint at standup comedy. I currently live in Nebraska. The first in my family to come back here since the mid 1940's. I have a lot of great stories to fill in all the blanks here with, but I think I will save them for later. The internet only has so much space. Although I have always loved pictures and photos, I was first really introduced to the art and science of photography in 1984 at Arlington High School. I took a photography course and really started to see the potential of captured images. Some people think of photographs as the end of the creative process, I view it as the beginning with each image providing a partial canvass to work with. In 2007 I put my writing with some of my photographs and created my first book, Sometimes... This was just the beginning for my creative endeavors. I have started on the next book and have been capturing images for it. The next book is set to be a larger format book with more pictures.
